What is a For-Profit Social Enterprise?

John Romeo’s philosophy is that, beyond reasonable pay, we don’t need to grossly enrich ourselves. That’s not what money is for. Our immediate priorities are expanding this enterprise and paying reasonable wages. But after that, all revenue will go to funding research into cures for human disease, investments, so that we can do bigger things in the future, and funding other projects to benefit humanity. Think of it as capitalism … with Christian characteristics.

Do you use animal products in your clothing?

Of course not. We use synthetic and plant-based materials. John Romeo is a friend to the animals and will never profit from animal suffering.

Do you sell your common apparel through your website?

We keep the distribution channels of our fine fashion and common apparel separate. Links to Amazon stores are provided by the product descriptions of our common apparel on our website for online sales.

Do your manufacturing partners have sustainable and ethical manufacturing practices?

We have a keen interest in the manufacturing practices of our overseas supply chain partners and we display our certifications on both our packaging and the product information pages of our website.
